Airport Hospitality

These committee members will be the first impression that players and guests see when they arrive on the Coast.  The committee will work closely with the Transportation Committee in arranging delivery of courtesy cars, will greet players and guests upon arrival and operate the information desk at the airport.  May require some early mornings and late evenings based on incoming flights.

Access Control

The Access Control Committee works in conjunction with the Corporate Hospitality Committee and the contracted security company to ensure tournament guests have the proper credentials to enter various restricted areas.  Those with good “customer service” skills will make excellent committee members.

Caddie Hospitality

Prior to play, members of this committee will be asked to staff Caddie Registration. During tournament rounds, members of the Caddie Hospitality Committee will be responsible for distributing and collecting the caddie bibs and staffing the caddie hospitality tent.

During the week of the Rapiscan Systems Classic, this committee will be responsible for the inventory, organization, charging, distribution, and collection of radios throughout the tournament.

Driving Range

During the week of the Rapiscan Systems Classic, this committee will be responsible for the inventory, organization, charging, distribution, and collection of radios throughout the tournament.

Golf Carts

This committee will be responsible for the control of all on-site cart inventory and distribution of golf carts to authorized personnel.

Over 100 members of the local and national media will be in attendance at the Rapiscan Systems Classic. The Media Center Committee will work inside the media center and will assist with tasks such as making copies or scheduling player interviews.

Player Shuttles

This committee provides the tournament players with a ride from the clubhouse to the practice facility, as well as from green to the next tee on certain holes.

Duties of this committee include gift bag assembly and distribution, as well as registration of amateur players.

Product Delivery

This committee will be responsible for distributing coolers of refreshments to various areas of the golf course, replenishing those coolers throughout the day, and collecting them in the evening. Volunteer opportunities may be available the week prior to tournament week as well. Heavy lifting is required so good physical shape is needed for placement on this committee.

(Must have a thorough knowledge of golf, be comfortable working with handheld computers, and be able to walk 18 holes of golf regardless of the weather.)

Welcome Center/Admissions

Members of this committee will work with admissions and be actively involved in the “first impression” for the tournament.
