The Rapiscan Systems Classic Presented by Coastal Mississippi is a non-profit PGA TOUR Champions golf tournament in South Mississippi. It debuted years ago in 2010 at Fallen Oak Golf Club in Saucier, north of Biloxi. Each year, the tournament draws large crowds and puts the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the national spotlight, thanks to live coverage from The Golf Channel. The purse for the three-day competition is $1.6 million, and 78 PGA TOUR Champions players will participate.

“We will put on first-class tournament for everyone to attend.  This event will elevate the stature of the Mississippi Gulf Coast on a national stage while benefiting those in need in our community.”  Anthony Topazi

Tournament's Vision:

  1. Create an economic driver in 2010, post Hurricane Katrina to signal to the world the Mississippi Gulf Coast was open for business.
  2. Highlight the Mississippi Gulf Coast culture through great food, high-end resort properties, great beaches, outstanding fishing and world-class golf courses.

  3. Utilize the Golf Channel telecast to highlight all of our natural assets and tell the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s story.

  4. Focus on Community, Culture and Charity
